We have moved
You may have heard…
We have finally done it; we have made the move to our new facility at 2887 Port Sheldon. We are now located just across the street from our old location, between 5th/3rd Bank and Apple Tree Learning Center. It was a big move for us. (For those of you wanting to know, our old location is going through some renovation and has been bought by a financial advisor, Brian Timmer.)
We at Georgetown Animal Hospital are proud to present our new clinic! Our new facility is a little more than double our old location and has been designed to optimize flow and better serve you (our clients) and your beloved pets.
As many of you know, our previous clinic was designed 30 years ago for 1 doctor, plus support staff. We are now a clinic of 5 doctors, soon to be 6, with a support staff of 12 additional people. (This has only been possible because of you our CLIENTS!)
We have expanded the lobby to more than double the last one; we want your wait to be more comfortable and pleasant. And let’s be honest, when you were waiting with your pet at the old building, all your energy was focused on stopping your dog from getting into some other dog’s face or vise versa. We have also created a separate entrance and exit, so that we no longer have people and animals colliding into one another and having a point of congestion.
We have doubled the number of exam rooms from 3 to 6! One of which we have designated for only cats, so as no help alleviate some stress for our feline friends. The cat exam room even has a windowsill (and of course a window) for maximum comfort.
Most of us have been through the difficult decision of having to say goodbye to our beloved pets, because we understand how difficult this experience can be, we have put in a comfort room with its own outdoor access. We have done this so that you may grieve for your pet in peace without the need of going through the lobby and having to interact with other.
We are extremely proud and eager to show off our new digs and will be planning an open house this spring for people to have a chance to check it all out. Segue especially, he is hoping he will get some extra attention, seeing as he thinks he gets none.
Thank you to CopperRock, Wirt-Rivette, The Design Forum Inc., Georgetown Township planning commission, Bank Of America, and of course ALL of our tremendous clients.
