Immunizations & Wellness Care

Sometimes illnesses are unpredictable, but most can be prevented. Don’t wait for your pet to have fleas or an illness before getting treatment. We provide ultrasounds at our office as a diagnostic tool to examine your pet’s organs and identify foreign objects, tumors, or babies. Ultrasounds ensure a quick and accurate diagnosis in case of an emergency.

We offer a large variety of specialized surgery services, including orthopedic surgery to correct cruciate tears, luxating patellas, and femoral head osteotomies. Of course, if your pet is in pain, you want to alleviate it. We will work with you to identify the cause of the pain and develop a treatment plan. This could include pain medication, a change in diet, laser therapy, or other techniques.

We offer a fully stocked in-house pharmacy, so you really get the one-stop-shop experience at Georgetown Animal Hospital. The pharmacy has a large variety of prescription medications that come in capsules, chewable tablets, flavored liquids, injections, and transdermal applications.

Microchipping

It’s a nightmare when a pet runs away, and although we try to prevent it, some are purebred escape artists. Microchips are injected and offer permanent identification, so when your pet is found, it can be traced back to you.
